Connect ChatGPT in a few minutes
- Sign in to Contexel. Your private workspace is ready right away.
- In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, and add a new connector. If you don't see the option to add one, turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings.
- Paste your Contexel address,
https://contexel.ai/mcp, and save. - Sign in with your browser when asked. There is no key or code to copy.
Custom connectors depend on your ChatGPT plan. If your company manages ChatGPT, an admin may need to allow them.
Optional: make it more reliable. Open Settings, then Personalization, and paste this into Custom instructions: When I ask you to remember something, also save it to Contexel. Before you answer a question about me, my family, or my work, check Contexel.
Then just talk to it
Once those steps are done, there's nothing new to learn. Ask your AI to remember something, and ask about it later from any connected app.

Do my teammates need ChatGPT too?

Who can see what I save?
You, and the people you share with. In a team or family account, anyone who manages the account can also open your private workspace, and you are told. Contexel holds the encryption key, so it could read it too.
