Does this replace Claude's own memory?
No. Claude keeps its own features. Contexel adds a memory that other apps and other people can use too, and Claude reads from it when your question needs it.
Does it work in Claude Projects?
Yes. Once the connector is added, it is available in your chats, including chats inside a Project.
Who can see what I save?
You start with a private workspace that only you can use. You choose when to create a shared one and who to invite.
Using other AI apps too?
It's the same memory everywhere. Connect as many apps as you like.
