Team is billed per person. Everyone in your team, plus anyone outside it who can edit, is a paid person. People outside your team who can only view are free, up to 20.

Up to 6 people who live together or are family, for their personal use. Everyone is 18 or older: Contexel has no accounts for children. People who can only view don't count toward the 6, and up to 5 of them can view at no charge.

If no plan is chosen, your account moves to Free. The person who created it keeps their private memory. Everything else pauses, including other members' private memory, so they should download it before the trial ends. Nothing is deleted when it pauses, and choosing a plan turns it all back on. Anything still paused after 12 months is deleted, after we email admins 30 and 7 days before. We also email admins before the trial ends.

On every plan, you can download every workspace you can open, as plain text files: in the console, go to Settings, then Download my data.

Yes. An admin cancels in the console. Canceling takes effect at the end of the period you paid for, and the plan stays on until then. There are no partial refunds, except where the law requires them. Then your account moves to Free: the creator keeps their private memory and everything else pauses, as when a free trial ends.

Yes. An admin changes plans in the console, and we charge or credit the difference for the rest of the billing period right away. Moving to a smaller plan never deletes anything.
