How it works for a family
- Sign in to Contexel and create a Family workspace with a short description, like "The Garcia household: schedules, trips and home repairs".
- Invite the other adults by email. Everyone in the household can see the family workspace and add to it; each person keeps a private workspace too.
- Each person connects the app they use: ChatGPT, Claude, or any other AI app that can add a connector. A few minutes each.
- Say "remember this for the family" in any of them. Later, anyone asks "what time is our flight?" and gets the answer from the family's memory.

Does everyone need to use the same AI app?
No. Each person connects whichever AI app they use. ChatGPT and Claude read the same family memory.
Can my kids use it?
Not with their own accounts: everyone on Contexel must be at least 18. Parents can save what the family needs to know about the kids, like schedules and plans.
Can my partner read my private notes?
Only what you save for the family is shared. The person who manages the household's account can open a member's private workspace if they need to, and Contexel tells the member each time that happens. You can download every memory as plain text files at any time.
